It has been such a long time since I actually wrote something in this blog. So for those who are actually still interested in my life here's a few things that happened. I got a new (Salvaged) car on the 22nd of April. On the 23rd, I got car insurance for that car. The next day a Tundra hit me. Right now, I am basically dealing with all the insurance and body shop crap that I need to do. Haha, wonderful. I actually just came back from my 3rd estimate. This time it's from a really cheap shop that would do the job for about 700 dollars. Another place would have charged 1000 more. So much gas spent on driving to different insurance agencies and body shops. God damnit. Anyway, the reason why I got a new car was because I changed my own oil with my dad supervising the whole thing. I did everything perfectly. The only problem was my dad did not tell me to check for this plastic ring that goes around the oil filter (A gasket) So the old gasket stayed on and I put on a new oil filter. Double gasket. I was driving and one of those gaskets popped so I bled oil like hell. I park as soon as possible and call my dad. I tell him I'm leaking oil and he says just drive home and we'll look at it in the morning. And so I drive home. I later realized I stopped leaking oil. I thought it might have stopped, but it turns out that I had no oil left to leak. I'm horrible with math, but I can figure this formula out. Car + No oil = Fucked engine. Yeah so my uncle helped me look for a new car on craigslist. I wanted a stick shift so he found a 2004 Honda Accord for 8900. After some bargaining, he brought it down to 7900. I go and pick up that car from my uncles house with Gene and he also teaches me how to drive it. I learned in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Then I had to drive home from Union City. Har har har. Yeah so I got a check today from Allstate for $1000.99 . The insurance from the guy who hit me (State Farm) refused to pay for the other damages because they said it was already there. So yeah, they gave me like $197 dollars. They also wrote the fucking check out to the wrong fucking person. (They wrote it out to the guy who hit me.) Such genius. Yeah anyway, school's been kind of killing me. The whole 7:50am - 5:10pm isnt working out so well. Espeically since I catch about 1 - 2 hours of sleep prior to that. Yeah, I am crazy.
